The Diamond background was cut using the same cardstock as the base card to give it an embossed look. I used a strip of ivory burlap behind the Lovely Tendril pieces, and arranged the gold and ivory poinsettias in a cascade fashion, then added a pearl to each of the centers. I also used a glitter pen on the ivory petals to give it a little shine. Hope you like this one!!

Hi Sherry, I found your blog after seeing your beautiful poinsettia card on the Poppystamps blog. Could you please tell me where you found the ivory burlap as I was searching for something like this for a winter card I am designing?
I am off to look at your other cards on your blog!

Hi Cheryl
Thanks so much for your comment! I bought the burlap at Joanne's ... it comes in a few different shades and I really like this one because you can also color it. :)
Hi Sherry,
I love your card, I have the
Diamond background die, can you
tell me how you glued it down. Dies with spaces in them are not easy to glue.
Thanks Carol
Hi Carol,
I use a Quickie Glue Pen and just make little dots all along the four edges, and then on each of the places where the diamonds cross each other. You have to then press the whole piece down and hold it for 30 seconds or so. It works for me!
So beautiful. I was responding to the hop but I saw this card below it and had to let you know how gorgeous it is.
