ELEGANT VALENTINE CARDS

I had so much fun creating these four cards using Penny Black dies and sentiments! Since Valentine's Day is right around the corner, I thought I would share them with you today.  The instructions are fairly brief, but if you have any questions, leave me a comment and I will be happy to answer!

Here's how this one was created: Ink the  floral heart with Hickory Smoke Distress Ink and stamp onto 2-1/2 X 5-1/2" Neenah Antique Gray card stock, adhere to white card base. Score double lines on either side. White emboss sentiment onto vellum cut slightly narrower than gray card stock. Add hearts and glue to front using small dots of glue behind white letters and large heart. Penny Black products used:  51-485 - Hearts Around, 30-522 - Love in Bloom, 30-525 - words Sweet

​Adhere red card stock cut to 5-1/2" x 3-3/4" onto white card base. Add sheer silver ribbon strips to Antique Gray card stock cut slightly narrower, and glue to card front. Place heart frame and large heart together and die cut together. Sponge HIckory Smoke in center of heart. Die cut locket heart from white and heavily sponge with Hickory Smoke, add small locket heart, and adhere to large heart. Die cut Script Love from white, and just the heart from red. Add red heart over corresponding white heart and adhere to front of card. Adhere Antique Gray card stock cut to 5" x 3-3/4" to card base. White emboss background stamp on white card stock, die cut using large heart, and sponge Hickory Smoke over top. Adhere to card with foam tape. Add small red heart to heart locket and adhere to large heart. Add a red twine bow. Ink sentiment in Versafine Crimson Red and stamp. Add small hearts. Penny Black products used: 51-493 - Heart Balloons, 51-489 - Heart Charms, 30-532 - Love Sentiments, 40-489 - Elaborate

White emboss background stamp onto Antique Gray card stock cut to 5-1/4" x 4", sponge open areas with Hickory Smoke Distress Ink. Adhere to card base. Cut letters, script "you" and heart locket from red card stock and adhere to front. Add small hearts. Penny Black products used: 51-487 - Love Train, 51-494 - Love & Miss You, 51-489 - Heart Charms, 40-290 - Poppy Pattern
